I have a lap top that I want to use as desk top with wireless keyboard and LCD computer monitor...I can hook up but when I close the lap top the computer powers down. How can I prevent this and still display picture on my external LCD monitor?
The solution from Joed911 it's totally right, but unfourtanly this laptop has an air ventilation that it's covered with LCD when it gets closed, and the manufacturer doesn't recommend you do that, may be you could try not to close completly the LCD, in that way you'll permit the correct ventilation.
