the charging port may be loose or broken on the inside same thing happened to my phone.

If the battery isnt holding the charge then you may need to buy a new battery and you can easily order a replacment battery online to make it work.

Ebay has replacement touchscreens available for a reasonable price.

format it on the tablet.go to storage un mount it then you can format it

only by putting a sim card with a active data connection in the device then attempt to unlock, you can not remotely turn on wifi very easily, may be a bit more simple if you have debug mode turned on but most people don't-Good Luck.
