When I check off an item on my to do list, directly on my palm, it wont synch with my desktop. And the checked off item will come back as "un checked". Also so of my programmed to do list items have begun to duplicate, what shoul I do?
Hi, if you are using palm desktop as your default sync program like i de, you may want to check your conduits and see if they are all on sync mode. try to sync after and tell me if that works. good luck and enjoy

On your Palm Desktop, under username PalmUser40, select the category view of 'All'. Then press Control + A to select all contacts. Then press Control + C to copy them all.
Then change the username on the upper right to 'misty'. Then go to contacts, under category 'All', and then Control + P to paste all contacts.
This will most likely not keep all the category names, but all your contacts will be copied in.
Then hotsync to sync to your Palm TX.
You might just have to upgrade the desktop software to work with the TX. You can keep your names and addresses but you have to check with each program to see if there compatible or not since the TX uses Palm OS 5. Most of the software available today is written for that operating system.
I don't believe Palm is even supporting the E2 anymore.
I've had the same problem a few times. In my case from middle of P's to Z. I am able to salvage most of the list doing a hot synch with the "handheld overwrites desktop." I'm afraid to do a normal hotsynch b/c the desktop may overwrite the handheld. PALM SHOULD FIX THIS !!
If you have PocketMirror from Chapura (included with certain Palm handhelds), you can choose to install conduits that synchronize MS Outlook with the handheld applications Date Book, Address Book, To Do List, and Memo Pad. You can choose to synchronize these applications with either Palm Desktop or Microsoft Outlook, but not both.
If you want to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook, DO NOT install Palm Desktop from the Web. Instead, run the Palm Desktop installer from the CD that came with your handheld and select the option "Synchronize with Microsoft Outlook" when the choice appears. Visit www.PocketMirror.com for more information about Chapura(R) PocketMirror.
