Can no longer get sig at remote location

When I purchased my wireless router a little over a month ago,a very helpful and friendly rep. from Linksys walked me through the process of set up. I was very happy with the results because both computers were up and running in no time. Now for some strange reason, a few days ago the computer at the remote location no longer rec. the sig.?? It just stopped for some reason. We made no changes or altered anything. The distance is only about 20 to 25 feet and there are no obstructions. I would be most greatful for some help on this matter. Thank You

You have to check if your wireless network adapter works and if the setting are correct.. you can also try to create a new connection for this computer and be careful to set the correct network name and wep key..

Hi Friend, As you need to upgrade the firmware for the router. Please follow the below link that will take you to the router's drivers page.
http://www.linksysbycisco.com/APAC/en/support/WRT54G/download
Please select the appropriate version from the list of the versions and as soon as you will select the version on the left hand corner slightly below the version number you will find the "firmware for your router"
Please let me know if it was of some help?
Thank you.

My personal network which i set up about 6 months ago when i purchased this router, will no longer allow me access to the internet. I can however gain access when i switch to other available networks

Connect to the web-interface of the router, and click "reset to factory settings". Then, run the "Wireless Network Setup Wizard" to recreate your personal wireless network.

Wireless network connected, but won't display web page

Trick to make it work again:

Go to the [control panel], select [network connections], locate the icon for the wireless interface, right-click on the icon and select [disable].
Once it is disabled, right-click again and select [enable].
It should work now.

Desktop can no longer access the internet with Linksy router

Check the firmware of both your router and your wireless card and make sure they are both current.

In all honesty, it sounds like you have damage to an antenna or an electronics failure on either your router or wireless card.

You will prob end up exchanging equipment to find your resolution.
