Re: my computer

Hello, sorry to hear you are having a problem with the sound, nothing more annoying than a mute PC. Firstly you need to identify what soundcard you have, if you go here: Download and install everest home edition, by clicking on one of the flags under 'download for free from:' This is a totally free program, and does not contain any adware or spyware. Once installed, run the program and navigate to: multimedia\pci/pnp audio. This will then say under 'description' what the sound card is. Then just search for the drivers in google or post it here, and I will find them for you. Hope this helps :) Si

The best way to retrieve data (images videos document) once it has been deleted is to use a data recovery software.
There are many different types of data recovery software and they all require being purchased.

How to change the date of an invoice

If you have already closed the invoices and cannot void them, then you need someone to adjust their date in the database. If you can void them, then change the date of the computer to the date you want on invoice and reenter invoice. This can't be done if it was a credit card sale however. Don't forget to change back the system date.
The first solution involves several tables in database and should only be attempted by someone familiar with SQL and RPE database. I could help.
Please return and give me a favorable rating if this helps or is of value to you.
Feel free to email me with more details if need be.

Deleting multiple e-mails

It all depends upon where they are located.
If you have them all in the same place, and don't care what all is deleted with them, you can choose Edit / Select All / then hit the Delete key, when they all are indicated as selected. If they are in a single day's grouping, use your mouse to click on the day header in Outlook, and only those files in that single day will be selected - but all of that day's files will. Again, then click Delete or the Red X.
I hope this helps.

I have X16-32007 on my C drive in documents and I don't know why. It's a huge file and I'd like to delete it but am afraid to. CAn you help?

From everything I am reading, this file created from when you downloaded Microsfot Office Professional. It is fine to delete this file, however I would burn a copy to a CD or DVD for safe keeping. If for some reason you needed to reinstall this program, this would save you from having to download it again. I would also keep my registration key with the CD.

I hope this help, if you have any questions, please comment back.

My computer with windows 7 had to be restored to default, I lost my microsoft office 2007. I have my key number, can I restore it over the internet?

It may be a better idea to check with the eMachines tech support people first, then Microsoft. But in both cases, doing it by phone is a better choice than by email.

The personal touch makes a big difference and if you explain how this happened, and that you have the key, they may help you much faster than any other way.

One thing you might try is to download a "try before you buy" version of Office 7 - the same version you lost. Then if possible, plug in your key and see if that will help.

Good luck,

Space for my computer

One idea may be to go through your computer files and delete things you no longer need. You can also try emptying your cache from your internet browser. Another thing you may want to try is to add Ram (memory) or add another hard drive to your system.

Need space

If that thing is crapping you up, then you've got to reformat it and install a fresh copy of operating system of your choice compatible to your computer. If you don't have any OS to install or probably you want it the way it was, your choice is to delete the folder/directory of the software you want to remove, which is usually located in C:\Program Files. The problem with this approach is if one of any files you deleted is a shared one, the program dependent on it will not be able to start properly and much worse if you delete a different folder or directory. Make sure you permanently delete it and not like just moving it to your recycle bin. If space is really you're concern, you have an option to purchase a brand new one with large capacity supported by your old system - install it with a new OS & applications and turn your old hard disk into secondary drive. Then transfer your documents to your new one. This strategy will ease you of pleading for more spaces.
