Question about HP Deskjet D2360 InkJet Printer
I have a Lexmark 730 Series printer and a new laptop which has Windows Vista. When I try to connect the printer it does not work and says the "timeout period has expired". Is my printer not oompatible with Vista?
Is there any way to get my 730 printer to work on my Toshiba laptop with Vista? Software update I can download?

There have been many problems with vista with all kinds of kit.... The best thing to do is to go to the Lexmark website and download the latest software drivers for your printer, hopefully that will resolve the issue

I have a new HP laptop with Vista Home OS, and I just installed my HL-1440 with a driver that was installed automatically in the "New Printer" procedure in Windows, and it works perfectly.

The Lexmark 730 is compatable with the Vista operating system but the driver CD that came with the printer is out of date. I would recommend that you download the lastest driver for the printer from http://downloads.lexmark.com/static/229-1-0-501.html
