Installing sim card in sidekick II (by 6 users)

hello, hope these instructions help:

1. To expose the SIM card slot, peel back the bumper from the top-left edge of the device. (fig 1)

2. Insert the SIM into the slot with the gold contacts facing forward and the cut corner facing out. (fig 2)

3. When you release the SIM, make sure it is locked into position behind the catch so it will not spring out.

4. Replace the bumper and turn on the device.

Can you put an att/cingular sim card in a sidekick 2?

Identify where the camera is on the phone. Open or remove flap to access the batttery. The sim card goes in that area shaped for it behind the battery. Lift the flap and insert.

i have a sidekick id also,

okay...

there is a part on the back that you can take off, but be carefull when you do take it off, because it can snapp off and brake ( that is what mine did a little bit )
then you will see when you open it a bettery...


alright now that you have gotten to the battery you...

will see it looks like this..

that kind of shape ( like a rectangle with two things sticking up )

now you lift up witht he two things sticking up, and take the battery out,

you will see a slot to but the t mobile card..
