Question about Toshiba 32HL95 32 in. LCD TV/HD Combo

1 Answer

Display problems I just purchaced a Toshib 32 inch LCD TV along with a Gateway Media Center PC. We connected them and the picture is beautiful and everything works great, the only problem is that the screen is stretched too far, and the start button and tool bars can barely be seen... you can't see the minimize, maximize, and exit buttons at all. How do I adjust the screen.

Re: Display problems

It depends on what type of PC you have but basically you can go to "my computer" and "display" - change the "resolution" to the next higher setting - this will shrink the screen to fit your window [dxh]

How do i fix my tcl 32 inch led tv? When i turn it on the screen display is ok minutes later the screen turning to white. Pls help me how to fix it. Thanks in advance

The T CON board or the LCD panel is faulty. In almost all the 32 inch tvs the TCON board is integrated to the LCD panel and is only replaceable along with the LCD panel.

Sound no picture

If sound is coming and showing no display then its display problem that comes from card situated inside the LCD. So go to nearest LCD repair center and check out this.

Bush 32" lcd tv no picture but has sound picture

Problem is in either power supply or - my bet - the Y-Sustain board.

The Y-Sustain is a relatively large board out of which go connections to the side of the display; it's therefore closer to either the left or the right side of the display, has at least one rather large heat sink on it and fat power cables connecting it to the main power supply.

Often there are fuses on that board - one or more. Check those.

if they are blown you can try to replace them, but expect them to blow again - usually the whole board needs to be replaced.

often that *needs* to be done in a service center as there are some adjustments to be made after replacement; don't know about this particular TV model.

Take care......

Brand new TV and it has a beautiful picture but no sound any suggestions?

S-video does NOT carry audio.

You'll have to get some RCA audio cable and connect them to the audio in ports associated with the S-Video input.
