More than likely you have loose connections on the power supply board. Fixing the connections should take care of the problem.

Hi
There is some loose solderings on the chroma board of your TV. This is a normal fault to all kinds of TVs. Some components, like resistors, will heat up during working. Repeated heating and cooling make its solder joints to get loose contacted. Here, your TV works fine for some minutes as you reports and the the problem arises. This is surely due to this kind of mistake. Just see, it is very difficult to locate the exact loose contact points. They will be microscopically minute, that we can't detect it with naked eye. The only remedy, as we techinicans do is, resolder all the suspected solder terminals of that section by applying a little more solder, without making shrot between adjecent soldering points. This is a very sensitive job, as it needs both patience and hand balance to solder. If you can, resolder all the hi-watt resistor solder terminals and IC solder terminals in the chroma section of your TV. You must have a good soldering iron with point soldering bit. If you are confident proceed. Otherwise, leave the job to any expereinced technican.OK

No Picture - only sound

I have a TV at work that has been doing the same thing here's how I've been getting it to show a picture:

turn the TV on then quickly change it to an input channel (like front or etc) that doesn't have anything connected to it. Let it sit there for a few minutes, then change it to a regular channel and see if you have a picture.
