-   Yea -- we started getting the F3 when trying to cook for company -- I ended up going out for food. GE says it could be a sensor or wiring or wiring connector to sensor ... long and short of it is that they want $90. -- of course -- to come out and look at it. If we authorize their repair the $90 will go toward their repair price. If this is a sensor that needs replaced, how much would that cost and is it necessary to have an "Authorized GE Repair Technician" do the analysis and repair? Crim'n etlay (have no idea what this means, just trying to approximate sound my dear departed father would make in similar situations) -- the thing is less than 3 years old! Not sure what brand of oven this is but there should be a tech sheet on the back of the oven or it may tell you in the owners manual what those codes mean. Might be a faulty oven temp. sensor for faulty wiring/connection to that sensor. If f3 means sensor on your unit and the wiring is ok then replace the sensor.
I have a Frigidiare Range with a glass top (see burners throug
top). How do I keep the surface around the burners clean?
The top looks marred from the first time I used the range!

I was offered a new display GE profile Gas cooktop grill that was in the appliance store approx 10 yrs. It's just the grill and downdraft fan to mount next to an existing range. They said $150 and I can have it. It's a discontinued model. Is it worth buying?

Display just started displaying message ''Cavity Size 30'' then it says "To increase press 3" and "To decrease press 6", then press start.
If you press 3,6, Start or any other button you just get the quick 3-beep sound but nothing changes and the message doesn't go away. We unplugged the oven from the electrical source hoping it would reset but didn't work. HELP!!
