Re: 50.2 fuser errer message

Hello, even i am having the same problem. I was looking online and found this stuff: step 1: Turn off the printer and switch it on after 20 mins. Step2. If the above step doesnt work then remove the fuser and replace it back again. Step3: if the above two stpes doesnt work and you still have that error message, then remove the fuser and check the impedance, if its below the required level(i dont know whats the required impedance is), then you have to change the fuser. I tried both step1 and 2, it still shows the error message, i guess i will have to change the fuser. Let me know if this helps Susheel

I have a problem with my Xerox 3535 (when i put it on, a error message appears on my Xerox screen) : Incident 010 - 398

The fuser cooling fan is running slow or stalled. You can remove and lubricate it, that is about a 50/50 fix. If lubricating that fan doesnt work you will need to replace it. Common problem.

The printer is HP LaserJet III . Please - what means the message "50 service " on the panel ? Thank you! MP

A 50.4 code is bad line voltage. Don't plug it in a surge protector.
Any other 50 error is a fuser problem. Turn the printer off for at least 10 minutes. Power it back on. If the error returns, replace the fuser.

What cause errer 000 canon np7161.when lit, it is E000 and it goes off after a few seconds.

A error code of E000 means that the fuser unit is not turning "ON" or is not warming up correctly. You will need to fix the problem before you can reset it. You may have a blown fuser lamp or thirmister or thermal fuse or all three? Good Luck

I'm tyring to print this morning and message comes up need to order supplies, then I look what I need and change it but this message error keeps coming up 50.2 fuser error before and after I change the...

When a 50.x fuser appear its because the fuser its worn, its probably overheating. I can suggest to take it out (in the back you will see 2 blue locks) for about half hour (turn the unit off before you are doing that) and put it back in. If the error persist you need a new fuser. Good luck

The fax shows a messages saying "open heat error"

On this machine, you may have a fuser assembly that is bad. Replace the fuser modual.
If this doesnt work, then the main board needs to be replaced.
Also what most people forget is the fuser fan. Sometimes it turns slow and you will not even notice it. It might not even turn at all.
Replacing the fan will solve most problems, but if it still does not turn on, Look on there to see if it has a small circuit board on the fuser fan, replace it too.
if all else fails the main board needs to be replaced.
Good luck

X FUSER ERROR A fuser error has occurred. 1. Turn the printer off, wait 10 minutes, and then turn the printer on. 2. If the message persists, reseat the fuser. If that does not work, replace the fuser. To check the fuser, turn the printer off and remove the fuser. Measure the resistance between the fuser connectors. If it is not within the proper range, replace the fuser. If there is not continuity between the fuser connectors neutral and hot with the fuser removed, replace the fuser. If the problem is not related to the fuser, replace the engine controller board.

Error code C-0510

Code C-0510 means a low fuser temperature.

This can happen after a long copy job has been run.

To clear the code:

Power machine off

Turn on the machine with the stop key held down.

Turn off, then on again.

The code should be gone.

A 50 Service error is a fuser error. Turn the printer off for at least 10 minutes, then turn it back on. If the error is still there, you can try reseating the fuser, but be sure to let the fuser cool completely before touching it.
If you still have the 50 Service error after reseating the fuser, you might need a new fuser.
You can access the fuser by opening the rear door. It's located directly above the paper tray. There are two screws that hold it in place. Remove those two screws, and the fuser slides outs.
Hope this helps.
