Hi. I have a Minolta CF 2001 color copier. Initially, it came up with the message to replace the fuser oil application roller assembly, which I did. I then proceeded to reset the counter in service mode as well. This eliminated that message, but prompted the "replace web assy.." message. I then replaced that assembly (new, OEM), and the web message didn't reset. I assume it supposed to reset when the machine is turned on with the new assembly installed, but it didn't. I even attempted to reset the web count in the counters as I did with the oil roller, but the machine won't let me reset the counter manually. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions? Thanks.

- I've actually solved this problem myself. After entering the tech-rep mode, there is a specific tab that "mentions" the web under settings. Under this tab, the machine gives you a choice of "web" or "OSU" (which I have no idea what that means). The web selection was highlighted. I simply switched it to the OSU setting (just to see what would happen since it evidently has something to do with the web), and that cleared the message and reset the web count in the counters. Machine opperational.
Check and see if the fuse has blown on the unit. If it has, the machine probably needs the firmware flashed.

Good day sir,
Kindly assist me convey this message to your tech dept.
While troubleshooting the copier cf 2001 color, the initialising (TP1,TP2 & TP3) and (com, ground & memory) was clear, this wipe out the image unit and every effort to reset it prove abortive.
please kindly assist me on what to do in order to fix the copier. My major concern is that the image unit life span has not yet expire before the copier is asking for the whole total four units.
