Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

Resetting Hi. I have a Minolta CF 2001 color copier. Initially, it came up with the message to replace the fuser oil application roller assembly, which I did. I then proceeded to reset the counter in service mode as well. This eliminated that message, but prompted the "replace web assy.." message. I then replaced that assembly (new, OEM), and the web message didn't reset. I assume it supposed to reset when the machine is turned on with the new assembly installed, but it didn't. I even attempted to reset the web count in the counters as I did with the oil roller, but the machine won't let me reset the counter manually. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've actually solved this problem myself. After entering the tech-rep mode, there is a specific tab that "mentions" the web under settings. Under this tab, the machine gives you a choice of "web" or "OSU" (which I have no idea what that means).  The web selection was highlighted. I simply switched it to the OSU setting (just to see what would happen since it evidently has something to do with the web), and that cleared the message and reset the web count in the counters. Machine opperational.

Good day sir, Kindly assist me convey this message to your tech dept. While troubleshooting the copier cf 2001 color, the initialising (TP1,TP2 & TP3) and (com, ground & memory) was clear, this wipe out the image unit and every effort to reset it prove abortive. please kindly assist me on what to do in order to fix the copier. My major concern is that the image unit life span has not yet expire before the copier is asking for the whole total four units. Check and see if the fuse has blown on the unit.  If it has, the machine probably needs the firmware flashed.

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Minolta copier cf 2001 has shown the message "change the oil supply unit".

Sir,

The oil supply unit is above the fuser unit (Hot Part) (Which fuses the toner to the paper so that it does not smear) There are two oil units web oil and supply. Go to Konicaminolta US web site punch in your model number or if have a operators manual follow the instrustions. Contact local KonicaMinolta or On line site to order a new one.

What causes the cf 910 to give c0000 and c0042

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. Error C0000 means Main Motor’s failure to turn and error C0042 means Fusing Cooling Fan Motor failure to turn.
These errors can be due to your fuser getting stuck. Sometimes the upper and lower rollers get stuck together, or a flat spot may develop on the lower roller. Check the fuser rollers, replace if faulty.

Please do rate the solution & revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Resetting the fuser oil message

Well, all you need to do is fill the tank on the back right of the machine. The oil pump has to pump it up to the sensor in the fuser. It will eventually go out, or you will get an SC570 code.
