My printer keeps coming up with having a paper jam, even though I have thoroughly checked the machine several times. I have unscrewed the back completely and removed all traces of paper. It has a couple of times printed one piece of paper fine but the second one jams!? When i remove that, it still says I have a paper jam???
Any ideas, please?
Thank you
I have exactly the same Paper Jam 2 Problem. I've tried reinstalling the printer driver but nothing seems to work. Not even when I've thoroughly checked that there's no paper stuck in the machine. Can you tell me what to do on my own without having to call for someone to come over?I have exactly the same Paper Jam 2 Problem. I've tried reinstalling the printer driver but nothing seems to work. Most probably you took a paper sensor out of position when removing the first jams. In your unit, the paper sensors are connected to the main board or power supply board. If the equipment is under warranty, any authorized service center will gladly replace it for free.

On mine you have to take the duplexer out of the back of the machine to convince it there's no jam. On the 4350 you press 2 buttons on the sides of the duplexer and it slides out. Look at it, scratch your head and then push it back in. Magically the paper jam is cleared.
Constant jam indication. This gear is more than likely the cause after exhausting all other avenues. Also nearly impossible to get to let alone replace even if HP offered the part. There is a black cover over the clutch assy that can be removed to reveal the gear. In most cases the gear is either sitting in the bottom of the machine or split down one side. This is the second machine that I have diagnosed with this problem in a very short time. If you have this broken gear, consider it toast. Matt / E-tech Copier and printer repair.
Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
Also open the back cover of the printer if this model has one.
Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it away from light/ sun light to avoid damaging it.
If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by
holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the
paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling
out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. Do
this step especially if the jam message comes up repeatedly without any
obvious paper jam, there may be a small tear of paper inside.
Ones the printer is free of paper Replace the toner or
ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the
printer back on.
If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
