Question about Intel D865GBFLK (D865GBFLKPRESCOTT) Motherboard

Memory help I need help getting memory for my client to upgrade them from 2 512mb of memory to 2 1 gb of memory. I didnt relize how many types of memeory are out there and i'm getting confused. i have the intel motherboard D865 GBFLK. What type of memory can i use for this system

Hi according to the specs for this board u need pc3200 which is ddr 400 memory which is still quite common so should be easy to get hold off

Asus memory

actually your laptop doent support memory more than 2 gb, either you have to flash ur bios to new version so that you can add more memory or else you have to buy new motherboard.

You need to be using a 64-bit operating system to address all 4GB of RAM.

Maximum RAM supported by this system is 2x4GB PC3-10600 200 pin, DDR3 SO-DIMMs modules.

2x2GB is standard factory RAM. Call back the seller and get a replacement(2x4GB).

    Ibm netvista 6794 ram upgrade problems

    CL- pc13 memory is reccomended. 512k memory sticks of the pc133 variety give a lot of users problems, you have to find a specific type of memory when installing 512k chips. to get all 3 to work, i sugfgest using 3 sticks of the exact same type (same memory modules on each stick)
