Reinstalled printer I had my system restored and now I do not have to c.d. to reinstalled my H.P Photosmart C 3180

Please go to run and enter "devmgmt.msc" you will get device manager remove all of the USB driver from the device manager and click on Scan for hardware changes. It will install all of the USB drivers. After that connect the all in on printer and install the driver properly.

just remove the driver and the software completely and reinstall them from the disk or from the Hp support site ..This is for sure a driver error or the software that manage it has some issues...Usually reinstalling is the fastest way to fix this kinda problems ...go to control panel ..remove all things related with the printer /scanner and reinstall ...

Go to HP.com and download the latest drivers for your scanner. When asked where to save the drivers, chose DESKTOP. Then you must go to CONTROL PANEL uninstall the old HP files. then go to your desktop and install the new drivers. This should take care of your problem as long as there insn't amechanical problem with your scanner.

plz try by uninstalling your printer and reinstalling it again

just give your system a restore ponit by clicking on start menu, go to all programms, click on accesories, under accessories click on system options under that go to system restore and restore your system to the date you install the printer. then re install the printer again

yes..that scanner issue keeps on popping up. has to do with the print command that's either compatible with the netgear standard, or it isn't..flukey, and not consistent..you might address netgear on this issue, but I've seen it before, actually..

Somewhere during the software install something went wrong. So every time you start the printer it thinks the drivers needs to be reinstalled & it finishes by installing its self again. Open the control panel & uninstall everything that the 3180 has installed on your PC including other perk programs bundled with the printer. Unplug the printer & Re-start the pc when finished.
Go to the link below & download HP's latest software for your 3180.
Follow the manual's instructions to the letter for re-installation.

When you finish the install re-start the Pc. Go back to the HP site above and click the link you see there to: Automatically check to see if the latest driver is installed correctly.
