Hi linz, Based on your post/description you have a couple of problems. 1. computer -hangs > many possible reasons: memory, video, virus, low CPU speed, faulty drivers; 2. screen saver not open sometimes > again video; 3. damage > physical (hardware) or software? 4. virus > any good anti-virus should be able to take care of that. However, rather than tackle one problem at a time, I would suggest that you do it all together and completely erase your hard drive and start a fresh/clean/new install of your operating system. You have to get hold of a copy of the OS that you are using and you can use the serial number or key normally in the sticker at the bottom of your laptop or at the rear/side of a desktop. This way you can ALMOST be assured that it will be virus free and CONFIGURED. If somehow the OS will not recognize some devices, it is just a matter of going to the laptop manufacturer's site and downloading/installing appropriate drivers. It might be of help if you can check your Device Manager and log down all devices that are currently installed like display adapter, modems, Network adapter and sound controllers. If it is connected to a network, it would be to your advantage to log down also you IP address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway and DNS Servers. Thereafter you of course will need Office Applications, Utilities, Anti-Virus and others. Pls post back with details of your computer (brand/model) and your Operating System. Hope this be of some help/idea. Good luck and kind regards.

It appears that my screen saver has not been enabled. If I am away from my desk for an extended period the screen saver is not activated.

To enable the screen saver in Windows XP, right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. Click on the screen saver tab and choose a screen saver. Set the wait time, click Apply and Ok and you're done. for Windows Vista and 7, use the following directions from :http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Change-screen-saver
  1. Open Screen Saver Settings by clicking the Start button 4f6cbd09-148c-4dd8-b1f2-48f232a2fd33.png, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Screen Saver.

  2. Under Screen saver, in the drop-down list, click the screen saver you want to use.

  3. Click Preview to see what your chosen screen saver will look like.

When I turn on my computer, it says it is "locked". It also asks if I want to "switch users". I am the only user. Secondly, I would like to know how to keep my screen saver on at all...

When you set the screen saver there will be an option for the computer to be locked after like 15 minutes idleness. You need to disable it to keep your screen saver on at all times. It is either in your graphic properties settings about screen savers or the power options you can open with a button on the dialog box of screen saver settings or you can open the power options from control panel. If you tell me which operating system you are using I will show you the detailed steps.

I sometimes get a blank screen while i'm using the computer or when i'm watching a dvd? why is the problem?

you may have screen saver active with no background selected, so when it goes to screen saver it only show blank scree. next time screen goes blank touch a key, if screen comes back, it is your screen saver, go to control panel find personalize and go to screen saver, make changes.

No screensaver or power mangement

Hi there.
Right click on the desktop and select properties, then select the screen saver tab, you can set screen saver from there, select a screen saver and set the time you want it to activate.
Remember that the screen saver will not work unless you leave the computer to idle.

Toilet doen't stop flushing

Sounds like the flapper is stuck in the open position.
They sometimes get hung on the flush tube or the chain hanging from the handle.

Is the water level overflowing the tube?
If so, try adjusting the level down, you may need a new fill valve if that doesnt work.
