Question about HP DeskJet F380 All-In-One Printer
Getting E icon below flashing orange light next to icon with what looks like ink drop. I have changed ink cartridges and nothing has happened. Any idea?
Click on start, then click run, type in the word services.msc, you will then get a list of options scroll down the lost to the letter p and find the word print spooler. click print spooler once then in the left corner you will have to options, either to stop or refresh, before doing anything take the usb out of the back of the printer, then click on stop, then click start, then click refresh, after this put your usb back in the printer, and that ''should'' solve the problem. email me if works or does not, thanks

Not well documented in the manual. E error plus cartridge light flashing indicates a faulty (not and empty) cartridge. Check cartridges are installed correctly and packing paper has been removed. Replace black cartridge with a new one. Does it now work? if so black cartridge was faulty. If not replace colour cartridge with a new one. Does it now work? If so, colour cartridge was faulty. If not, throw the printer out and buy a new one.

I finally get mine resolved today 29 Apr 2010.
I have to take it to the technicians at the computer village in IKJ LOS NG in which it was service and bought both new color and black and white cartridge.
Now working perfectly!!!!
I can now smile home....

I have bad bad experience with this F-380.
According to the HP service center, this type can't be repaired.... how come?. They just offering me to "Trade In" with other type. Indirectly, they want to tell that their product is failed.
This weird product is suck..... My sugestion, don't buy this product.

I got the problem also. The printer is only 2 week old!
The refillshop said the cartridges are dead! They also mentioned that the printer could destroy new cartridges.
I suppose I will have to use the warrancy
