Question about IBM ThinkPad A21m 2628 Notebook
Im installing new OS on my IBM A21m laptop but when installing it always shutdown.I already formatted the hard disk using windows xp installer but when im installing my laptop is always shutdown. When i turn on the cpu fan is working and after several minutes it goes down. How can I install the new OS if it always shutdown?Where I can find the temp setting of cpu?Pls advise.Thank you
Every laptop is accompanied by a preinstalled vesion of Windows, on the same hard disk in a hidden space. So if you get a prompt to restore your laptop to a previous state at the beginning of system startup, press the relevant key. If windows xp is your choice. and want to install it you may need follow the installation instruction from your system manufacturer. When the system starts up some information is displayed on the screen, like this: " Press F1 to enter setup" If you press the relevant key and enter the BIOS setup you can find the CPU temperature settings, shutdown temperature etc... This may not be you case. So I suggest you to get support from a qulified technician. Your system hardware should have some problem. (motherboard or hard disk is more prone to error) you can also try to find information from your system vendor's manuals and support website. All the best
