    i did what you told me, but when i press safe mode there still a password on my username...and theres no administartor that i see in there... can you tell me more step by step please..

    yes theres No administrator, so you mean i have to reinstalled the all programs right?

If you mean your windows log on password, you need to boot up (F8)in safe mode and log onto windows as administartor and then go to control panel>users and change your account password or delete it. If you mean system/bios password you have to locate the cmos CR2032 battery on the motherboard and remove it for 10 mins or so and replace to clear the bios memory. If it's the standard Acer bios password it's normally 0000

    if when you get into the safe mode menu, see if VGA mode is there,if so select it and then press enter.

    Your account should show and another called administrator, if no administrator account shows then there was none set up at the time of installation and there fore windows will have to be reinstalled

if you mean the bios password you need to remove the bios battery for about 10 minutes, if you mean the windows log on password, then you will have to get into windows in safe mode (press F8 on boot up) and get in as administrator and delete or change the password on your user account.

Reset user account password on aspire 3680
Try logging in as an administrator and remove the password. Even if that is also not available. Try to download third party DOS bootable password remover of User password using another system. Try Booting through the utility CD and remove it.

Help me to remove bios password on my notebook acer aspire 3680. Please... Thank for help
i cant seem 2 find the user manual any where but the key to removing the bios password is to locate the c mos battery so u can reset the bios. if you're handy with a screwdriver u can remove a couple of lids and snoop around for the battery yourself. but be very careful and try not 2 break any thing inside there. if u don't want 2 take the risk i suggest u bring it in a local PC repair shop so that they can take care of it for u.
