What triggers the LED light to be turned on when the door opens? Would really appreciate the help on this !!!!!
Most refrigerators have a switch somewhere. look for a little white triangle either at the top or bottom. there may be a push button style somewhere along the upper hinge cover.
Searched for it already, and was not able to locate it ... must be some kind of sensor, but Samsung Support was not helpful. Any other ideas?
just checked diagram from searspartsdirect.com, it looks like the switch should be under the hinge cover. they call it a reed switch so it may not look like a switch. is probably actuated by a magnet on the door
Chris, just saw your respond ... is it from picture on Page 16, Step 2? I am guessing, this is the switch you refering to: "Caution: Do not remove the sensor assembled in the right upper hinge cover." ?
