Problem for Friedrich CP06C10 Thru-Wall/Window Air Conditioner

Hi. I have a wall unit less than 5 years old. Fan is making noise. Expert told me to oil it.
1. If I dont oil it will it get damaged or is it just a convenience for the noise sake.
2. Does it make sense that such a young AC would need oiling?
3. I have another wall unit 22000 Fridgidaire that is young and ices up a lot. I had insulation pumped in to my walls a few years back. can you see any connection?

1 and 2 there two type of motor 1 has lubricating acces this youshould lubicate the other no noacces. but commonly if you lubricate and still noisy you change the bearings qty2 or sleeves qty2
2- common cause of ice
- thermostat on min setting
- thermostat defective
-air filter is very dirty
-evaporator is cloged no air pass throu
- loss of freon ( a/c is leaking)
