I dropped my at&t phone in the lake a while back, I took the battery off and stuck onthe dash of my vehicle to allow the sun to bake the phone for a day or two. It still works to this day. Do not try to power up wet electronics, that's what burns thtme up. give a good drying before ever trying to charge. After a good drying you might try a new battery if drying fails. Good luck.
Cell phones do not recover gracefully from getting wet internally. The electronics were not made to get wet. You would be better served to get a new phone. Getting a cell phone wet is almost alway death to the electronics, even if the phone is dried out completely, The problems caused by the damp electronics will cause strange and intermittent problems.
Did you try taking out the battery and letting it dry. Depending on how wet it got, your battery may need to dry out or the phone is damaged. My friend dropped his in the shower, took 2 days for the battery to dry out and it was fine.
This phone is very slim. Unlike other models you can't simply un-snap the front bezel from the back with out a special tool or knowledge.
I assume it got wet. Try this:
Remove the battery. Wipe it dry and set it aside.
Then with the "battery compartment" facing down and holding the phone very firmly (don't drop it), shake the phone downward with very quick snaps get as much water out of it as you can.
Then set the phone somewhere in the sun where it will not get wet again and let the phone dry out. But be careful not to let the phone get too hot. You may have to shake it a couple of more times during the "drying" to get all the water out. It may take up to an hour to dry out.
After all this if you still have a problem then take it to any store there that sells this phone. Most will be able to service it for you.
