Question about Televison & Video
One day I turned on the tv but there was no picture. sound is fine. My friend told me to bang on it. (great idea) so I hit the top and I got a picture but it is VERY dark, moved the settings to as light as possible and the picture is like Movie format, where you have the black sections above and below the picture. I know I shouldnt have hit the tv but I had a few beers. Thanks for any help. Suzi
Hello Suzid, It looks to me like you have a possible power supply issue (poor brightness on screen, shrinking of the picture, and initially no picture) This problem may put you in danger of electrical shock, so I would suggest that you not try to repair this set yourself. I would suggest that you take the television to a television repair shop. The power supply issue could be a low power or a high power supply problem.
