Question about Hotpoint Aquarius WD63 Front Load Washer/Dryer

Leaking washing machine - hotpoint aquarius 1100 - wm63

My washing machine leaks, (first machine), the water was coming out from under the back, so I thought it was the inlet pipes overtightened ? But I noticed it only leaked on reaching the top of the lower edge of the door seal So the next time I tested it, I took off the top cover and could see no water, so I looked under the front and saw drips through a hole (behind the plastic clip on cover at the base of the machine) coming from the very lowest part of the door, inside the machine shell, leaving a puddle on the floor. I assume this is the seal on the door ! If you also think so, is it an easy job, or one for a plummer. Can anyone buy the parts and fit them ? Thank-you, Rob.

Water leaks are very hard to locate as the water always drips from the bottom, it is just a case of detailed looking, after a while there will be a dry white mark where the water has dried out, this will show where the leak originated from, there are a few things at the front of the machine that it could be, sorry can't help much more nearly all parts can be bought by the public and with common sense and taking very detailed notes where wires came from etc, most jobs can be done by a competent diy person with basic electrical knowledge remember water and electric do not mix always unplug from power supply where working on any appliance

Hotpoint Aquarius 1100 WM63 Not Spinning Clicking Programmer

I would suggest you check the brushes in the motor, as it sounds like they are worn out.
Replace them if they are less than 3 or 4 mm long
This would give you the symptoms you are describing.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.

Aquarius 1100 wm63 very noisy spinning

Remove rear cover of washer.
Remove drive belt.
From inside the drum, spin the drum by hand, if it is noisy or feels rough, then main drum bearings have failed.
If no noise, then possibly motor bearings noisy.
Hope this helps Thankyou.

The heating element for this paticular model is located on the front casing of the drum.. you have to remove the front panel complet with the door and you will see it at the bottom behind a black protective cover.
