Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
I bought an upgrade of vista home premium to install on my Toshiba A105-s4064. well, I didn't realize i needed to keep the original windows xp MCE. I erased my hard disk with disk 1 of 2, but i never put in disk 2 (i don't know what i was thinking!), before i started a clean install of Vista. Now i want MCE 2005 back. But when I use my Toshiba A100/A105 recovery disks i recieve the following: "WRONG MACHINE" Disks are for A105 machine this is an A100 machine. My product key sticker is no longer attatched to my laptop. What can I do to get a full recovery to the out of box state?
If you already formatted the hard drive;there's n o way for you to get restore image of mce 2005;you have to call the toshiba tech and send your har drive to load the restore image again.u can also try to tap 0 while rebooting your machine.to access the restore image if u still have it instead of using the recovery disc.
