Video screen I have a Sanyo t.v. My daughter had her playstation plugged in so the "Video" screen was up. Now, I can't get it off the blue screen that shows "Video". Are there buttons to press that will reset the thing? Thanks.

Reset the playstation 3. for that, in standby mode press and hold the power button on the front panel of the playstation 3 for 4 seconds. It will rest the vidoe resolution setting and you will be able to see the video .Then Follow the instructions on the screen.

sounds a lot like you lost the video driver or control board functionality. From the 'decay' of your image, with sound still working, and all else being good, you're primed for a new video controller. Are you inclined to do the repair yourself? The service manuals are hard to get online, but the local service center MIGHT sell you one.

Be sure your channel settings are correct and that you have proper orientation of the hook up cables. See if your remote has a video-mute if so turn it off...a video-mute will produce a blue or black screen. To be sure its not the tuner that's enter the menu screen if you can see the menu then the tuner is ok this means the down-stream video is functioning. Be sure to have all your input devices set to the correct output ports. If all check good and still blue screen then the logic section is not processing video codecs and needs servicing.

did you verify if your tv is set to work with PAL or NTSC?
if your PS System is European, you must set your tv on PAL
if it's American, you must set your tv on NTSC

and it will not work if you try to plug the cables in component video as you did.

the red and the white cables are the left and right sound

the yellow one is the only one sending a picture signal

plug it into the video in...which should be yellow on that tv, the green and blue jacks are for another type of video connection

Are your dvd put on progresive scan,if it does you gotta deactivate in order to get video.Good luck.

if you getting a blue screen and NO browser, the system is probaly damaged, either try another AV cord to plug into tv, if that doesnt work then its something internal

My panasonic Tv pic suddenly turned into a blue color I can't see the pic any more just can hear the audio.....any solutions????
