Every time I enter information I get this, "Please use only legal characters" To the best of my knowledge I am using standard english charcters and punctuation. Help!

it sounds like a captca requirement...one of those boxes that has characters, or a picture of charcters you have to enter to prove you are human...

Where are you asking what you were asking?. On FixYa?.
The FixYa parser refuses to let anyone enter any character (letter, punctuation mark, ..) that is not part of the English alphabet.
I just had a problem with a circonflexe (^) accent. In the opinion of their programmers, any such symbol is illegal (meaning NOT LEGAL)

Basically the letters, number, and other characters that are on the keyboard. Not the ALT+ combinations. If you're pasting from a word processor, use the "Paste as plain text" option.

Unfortunately with new technology comes difficulties that require adjustments. For the most part, spelling out data is preferable to using sysmbols.

Try to check the password at the bottom of your Zyxel that is 8 characters long.

Usually it means letters and numbers. Some signup processes don't allow characters like: # % ? _ @.

it shows like 50 keyboard for 50 countries.
this forum you are on is USA forum based in PR. of CALIF.
the keys for USA characters are valid. not others.
a to z and simple punctuation. and zero to 9 and such.
this is called (IT-101) a character set.
or caps if the mood suits you.

What kind of information are you trying to enter? Try using only numbers and letters. Characters that may not be legal could be anything else, such as underscore _
dash - period . colon : semicolon ; slash / backslash \ and lots of others

Are you seeing garbled characters in a non-US-language email? If so, you can change Yahoo! Mail’s character encoding setting. It’s easy! Here’s how:

I HAVE JUST FOUND MY PRODUCT KEY WITH 25 CHRCTERS IT IS UNDER MY LAPTOP, THERE IS A STIKER WITH 25 CHARCTERS AND THERE IS A DASH ( - ) BETWEEN EACH 5 CHARCTERS
