ooh man check if the drivers are installed. if connect your computer to internet by ethernet cable , go here http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers, choose your model , download all the wireless lan drivers and install them. it will work. if it doesn't let me know

Try and uninstall the empowering software, and download it from the acer site again. Do you have the software from acer or did that model not come with any?

Hi, You need to Acer eNET Management, the empowering Technology,
using Acer eLock Management and Acer eRecovery Management, you must initialise the Empowering Technology password. Right-click on the Empowering Technology toolbar and select "Password Setup" this will enable you to do so. If you have not initialized the Empowering Technology password and run Acer eLock Management or Acer eRecovery Management, you must create it.
Acer eNet Management this will assist you to quickly connect to both wired and wireless networks. to access this utility, select "Acer eNet Management" from the Empowering Technology toolbar or
run the program from the Acer Empowering Technology program group in Start menu.

Sometimes as other programs are installed/ uninstalled files needed to run empowering tech get corrupted or deleted accidentally.

You can go to global.acer.com and select support then download drivers fill in your model number and that will take you to a page with downloads for your PC. Including Emp. Tech. Download and reinstall this software and you'll be back in business in no time.

all the drivers there, you just have to download and install.

Acer support should have most of the drivers on their site for your model. If they do not- you probably will have to contact them for further assistance. Software is not always available from acer and their online support is kind of half 4ssed for u.s. customers. I usually have better luck getting drivers and support from the European sites for acer.
