my garmin nuvi 200 is locked out and im not living in the security area how can i fix this to be able to use my gps again

go to garmin website and downgrade your units filmware to any version before garmin lock then turn it on garminlock gone then let garmin update your unit through website thay will put the latest filmware back on it with garmin lock but no pass you can then set your own password . give thxx...Json.warren

If you forgot your PIN, all you have to do is go to the physical location where you originally set your PIN and turn the unit on (make sure antenna is up). It will not ask for a PIN and you will be then able to change the PIN to whatever you like.

You got a good point CB. I'm trying to help these people and they can't drive to where they originally set the PIN at and reset the GPS? Or perhaps the unit was stolen and they just want to recover the PIN so they can sell it for $$. Thanks for the inaaprropriate vote MR. GUEST. What goes around comes around.
