On my Nikon d80: F - - Flashes at the top of display and camera won't auto focus or take photo. Thought maybe it was due to a weak battery but after a full charge the problem persists. Probably not the most complex problem but am in Europe and don't have my manual!
The "fEE" error indicates that the camera is not communicating with the
lens. The lens may not be attached to the camera properly, or if it has
an aperture ring, it may not be set to f22 (or the highest aperture
number of the lens) - which is normally marked in orange. Select this
aperture and lock it using the aperture locking switch to prevent this
from occuring again.

Is it normal for my D80 battery to run down when using a 70-300 lens? This has just started occurring and it happens to my backup battery as well. Battery stays charged with 18-135 lens.

there's some dust spots in my pictures with my Nikon D80. I have sent it for sensor cleaning at Nikon centre but seems that the spots cannot be removed as the technician says it's hidden underneath/behind the sensor. I am not sure how true it is or the technician is just plain lazy because I had to tell him where the spots were 3 times before he got the remove most of them. The spots are not visible if I don't scrutinise the pictures though but it sure is irritating knowing there are 1 more speck of dust.... How do I remove that dust?

The auto focus on my d80 with 18-135mm will not work and creates a very high pitched and/or grinding noise. This camera has around 500 shutter clicks and was gently used.
