The bridge part of my eyeglasses is not there at all. what can i use temporarely

I would recommend you too start trying to delete cookies and temporarly internet files.

Go to Startmenu -> Control panel -> Internet options.
Here you can delete cookies and temporarly internet files, that might resolve this issue.

Else try Another browser like Firefox or Chrome if you use Internet Explorer.

Ypu can go to home depot and get welders puddy, it is a 2part mix and you can make a bridge from it after it dry's you then can paint it any color, a cheep way to fix your glasses

A frame has 4 basic frame sizes.1. Eye Size - refers to the horizontal width in millimeters of one of the frame's lenses.
2.Bridge Size - measurement is the distance in millimeters between the two lenses. It is measured between the two closest points of the two lenses.
3.Temple Size - is measured along the length of the temple, from one end to the other, including the bend.
4.Vertical Size (B) - refers to the vertical height of an eyeglasses lens, and is measured from the tip to the bottom of the lens aperture of the frame. The measurements are taken from a horizontal line intersecting with the top of the lens, to the horizontal line intersecting with the bottom edge of the lens. The B measurement is only important when ordering multifocal lenses; follow this link to read more about progressive lenses.

mcdevito75 here, Most Dollar stores carry an eyeglass repair kit containing screws, screwdriver and a magnifying glass if you"d want to replace that screw your self, Or, you can see any eyeglass outlet in your area.

If the hairspring is perfectly clean (pretty clean is not good enough), then you have to observe it by using magnification eyeglass. Check out if the coiled parts are touching each other while the balance wheel is in motion. If that happens you need to recoil/repair hairspring and make coiling perfectly even. Also check out if the hairspring is touching balance wheel or coc;k. It must not touch anythining and must expand and retract freely. Coc;k is the bridge on which the hairspring stud and regulator (index) is fitted. When this is sorted but the problem still persists, get back to me again I'll guide you through the next stage of possible solutions.
