W 6221 power indicator light is out

My W6221 works just fine. The LED isn't working. Is there a simple way to get the front panel off to see if it's a loose wire?

LED Indications

The front panel Status LED provides an indication of

the set's operation and the possible cause of a malfunction.

If an abnormal condition is indicated, perform the

Self Diagnostics procedure.

Self Diagnostics

To activate, press the front panel <ACTIVITY> &<CH

??> buttons at the same time and hold for 5 seconds.

The STATUS LED will then flash denoting a two digit

code.

• The number of flashes indicates the value of the

MSD (tens digit) of the Error Code.

• The flashing then pauses for approximately 1/2

second.

• The LED then flashes indicating the value of the

(ones digit) of the Error Code.

• The Error Code is repeated a total of 5 times.

Example: If the Error Code is "23", the LED

will flash two times, pause, and then flash three

times.

Table 2-2: LED Indications

Error Codes, descriiptions and the most likely cause of

the error are listed in Table 2-3.

Note: The TV must be in "Shut Down." The LED

will probably be indicating an abnormal

condition. If the TV is switched Off, AC is

removed, or a System Reset is performed, the

code automatically resets to "12" No Error.

See the Error Code Log to retrieve a history of

errors.

Note: Use the front panel buttons, not the remote

control.

Note: If there is no response, the front panel may be

locked by a V-Chip setting. To unlock, press

and hold <ACTIVITY> on the front panel for

8 seconds.

LED Indication Condition

Off Off (standby)

Green Power On

Slow Blink Green Power Off with Timer Set

Fast Blink Green (80 seconds) > Off Power Off (Cooling fan still working, 80 sec)

Ok dumb question but here it goes. Have a Philips 42inch flat panel HDTV. Today I noticed the blue power on indicator light, was no longer blue it is white. TV appears to be working ok, but what is it?

The LED light (the light bulb that isn't actually a bulb), has probably either burnt out or dimmed so that the colour has been changed. Nothing to worry about

I have an Asko front load washer W6221. I have

I had identical problem. I diagnosed it to be the motor brushes on the front of the motor. They have an off switch in them when they get worn out. Easy to check and replace. Remove front lower panel (two torx 20 screws). Brushes are visible and are held with two screws each. One on each side of motor. Remove two screws on each brush and unattach wire. Two new motor brushes were around $75. Literally tooke 30 minutes to replace. Hope this is your issue!

Yzf 1000r fuel guage light remains on with full tank or empty

An LED bulb will not work with a thermistor style fuel level sensor - it has insufficient current through it to heat the sensor for normal operation.
The problem with the signals indicator is also related to the LED but for a different reason - the LED will only allow current in one direction.
The simple solution is to go back to incandescent bulbs in the instrument panel for these two functions.

HP Media Vault - Power on / fan on / front panel indicators off

I read a bunch of material found on the web. Primarily this led me to believe that the Lynix flash OS has some issues (to say the least). After carefully testing out the mom board voltages I decided that there was probably a software boot issue.

I read this at k0lee.com/mediavault/
"The MV1 has a hard reset which severs the tie to the startup.sh script that calls any of the installed software." The material on this site also indicated that the stored files would not be affected by a hard reset. So what the heck... nothing to lose. I unplugged the power, pressed the reset button and then applied power. Held the reset button for > 5 seconds. Held my breath for 30 seconds and the disk light started to flash on the front indicator panel. After a minute or two of that, the OK light came on. I pressed the power button on the front panel and the it responded. Another miracle? Hmmm. The MV shut down. I connected to the LAN and powered back on. Every thing worked fine.

I guess... there was a space issue / startup parameter corruption / enemy electron in the mix that was passed over with the hard reset at start up. Since there is on access to the OS boot process, (or source code) this is pure speculation. Although, it is reasonable speculation. Chao!

W 6221 stop working

Suggestion: Plug off the wall; open up behind. Take a good look to see if all the electrical connections are fitted well into their respective places, and that nothing has come loose. The fit should be tight, or it will just come off when the machine vibrates...
