the printer did print the alignment page and nozzle check but won't print anything else. Just replaced one cartridge with another brand - now won't print - says onscreen out of ink in both but printer read out says 60% and 100% left. help

my comment incorrectly stated that another brand cartridge used - not true - is an Epson cartridge.
If can't be easily fixed - someone recommend a good value printer, scanner please

My Dad's Epson CX3200 won't print. It shows a print preview fine, then sounds like it's printing, but the page comes out blank. Sometimes it won't print at all, and then it says Scanner Error, contact service if it persists or something to that effect. The ink levels show 50% for black and 100% for color. I wanted to change it to color print, just in case, since the preview sometimes looked like it was greyscale.
