Sensor doesn't work - La Crosse Technology TX61U-IT Solar Powered Wireless Temperature Sensor

I stumbled across a factory pdf for the TX61U-IT. At the moment, you can find the link here: http://www.manualsdir.com/manuals/776421...

Of note and why *I think* that the internal non replaceable battery has failed, is due to the age of the sensor, being able to reach that threshold charge of 2.5 volts to awaken from its sleep/ idle state.

Mine stopped working about 2 weeks ago (May 2018) after about 8 years of service. I had tried the recommended procedure to depress the reset button on the sensor, but it still would not reset / reboot the temperature sensor. I suspect the non removable batteries to be the issue failure so I am about to crack the case open to try to troubleshoot the issue for confirmation.

The tv sensor doesn't work

the cause it would be a bad infra red sensor or driver circuit for the sensor. but before you come up that the problem is the sensor, you must need to ensure that the remote controller is good.

Code p106

Using a scan tool, watch the map sensor value with the key on, engine off. Compare the Barometric reading with the MAP reading. They should be roughly equal. The voltage for the MAP sensor should read approx. 4.5 volts. Now start the engine and look for a significant drop in the MAP sensor voltage indicating the MAP sensor is working.
If the MAP reading doesn't change perform the following:
  1. With the Key on, engine off, disconnect the vacuum hose from the MAP sensor. Using a vacuum pump, pull 20 in. of vacuum on the MAP sensor. Does the voltage drop? It should. If it doesn't inspect the MAP sensor vacuum port and vacuum hose to manifold for a restriction of some kind. Repair or replace as necessary.
  2. If there are no restrictions, and the value doesn't change with vacuum, then perform the following: with the Key on and engine off and the MAP sensor unplugged, check for 5 Volts at the reference wire to the MAP sensor connector with a Digital Voltmeter. If there is none, check for reference voltage at the PCM connector. If the reference voltage is present at the PCM connector but not the MAP connector, check for open or short in the reference wire between MAP and PCM and retest.
  3. If reference voltage is present, then check for existing ground at the MAP sensor connector. If it isn't present then repair open/short in the ground circuit.
  4. If ground is present, then replace MAP sensor.

Just had both o2 sensors replaced and now the truck won't shift from 2nd to 3rd gear. Evidently it had been slipping a bit before but now it won't shift into 3rd at all. The tranny is an E4OD......

O2 Sensors --- not related to shifting

New transmissions --- are only new once
When installed on the assy line

Has to be rebuilt if necessary

PO 147 ---O2 Sensor Heater (Bank 1 Sensor 3) don't have one of those
PO714 -- Trans Temp Sensor -heat for the slipping
PO 471 --- Exhaust Pressure Sensor -don't have that either

Need a new guy
Not very professional were they

Why doesnt my transmission make shifts speedomiter

First check the 10 amp fuse #1.

If fuse is good, speed sensor has failed or is disconnected. Check connection. If connection is good, replace sensor.

Sensor is mounted on transaxle output. It should have a 3-wire connector on it with one yellow, one orange, and one black wire, as shown in diagram below.
