if u enter the wrong code three times it will ask you for the puk
the puk is in the original box or you have to ring the service provider and provide all his correct details they will give you a puk then you have to enter new pass word then he will no you have been in there
or steal his phone put your sim in there he might just have a sim lock and not the phone and all the call log and messages will be on there.
or just ask him say be ******* honeset or your gone
