The manual says you can use any cleaner that is not pine-based, such as PineSol.

I have used Mr. Clean for years with great success.

Best way to clean a laminate "wood" floor. I use Pine Sol and lately have been noticing streak marks and dullness.

The old standby of glass cleaner should do the trick. Use a spray bottle, and spray a small 4x4 section at a time, let it sit for about 2min. , then wipe up with rags. Do NOT let it dry on the floor. You have a buildup of product on the floor. The pine cleaner has a small amount of oil in it and it builds up over time. For a good glass cleaner- I would suggest ZEP glass cleaner. For daily cleaning- I would suggest white vinegar 1 part vinegar to 3 parts HOT water. It will sanitize, and also remove salt stains from the floor left by winter boots and dog footprints.

Panasonic vacuum cleaner MC-5030 stopped and don't work

Unplug, check if brush has cord wrapped. Check for fuse, if applicable.
Check power lead in another supply socket. Check for reset button, if applicable. Contact Panasonic technical support for suggestions before heading to service centre.

I had to take apart my shark navigator vaccuum cleaner and clean it. I need a diagram to see where to put everything back, mainly the magnets.

The two long magnets (maybe about 2" and tapered across one long side) go in the housing in front of the brush. One fits on the right, the other on the left. The tapered ends point up. When you put the top cover back on, it will enclose the magnets completely. Took me 45 minutes to figure that out after realizing one magnet was still in place. Sheesh. Lol

My problem is with DC24 brush wouldn't turn even after reset button has been pressed?

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear about this - please see the video below, and check that you've followed all of the steps. Also make sure that you recline the cleaner into the vacuuming position before you test the brushbar, as it won't rotate when the cleaner is standing in the upright position.

If you're still having difficulties after attempting this, please get in touch with us directly so we can help. If it's necessary to replace the cleaner head, this should be covered by our 5-year guarantee, as long as the cleaner has been used in accordance with the terms and conditions listed in the user guide.

You can call us free on 1866MYDYSON, or email askdysonUS@dyson.com. We'll look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

Should this portable vacuum cleaner be left recharging 7/24

and what portable vacuum cleaner would that be??? you dont have any name, make, model nor even a picture of it.

On the other hand, leave it on the charger. What else are you going to do with it? If you store it on the washing machine it will be dead when you want to use it. Store it on the charger my friend.

Replace belt

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The suggested belt change is every 4 to 6 months if the belt is a flat belt and to store the extra belts in a Ziploc bag in the refrigerator. As far as your question I would need more information about the brand name and model # to instruct you as per the belt change, other wise I don’t know how to instruct you as per the how to install the belt on your particular vacuum cleaner. Or, you can check with your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or to contact the manufacturer’s website and or phone #. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Thanks, Don the Vac Man

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
There are only 2 ways you can install a belt on a Turbo Power 2000, either you can remove the bottom plate and expose the belt, 1st place the belt on the brushroll section of the vacuum then use a belt puller or a screwdriver with a left or right hook @ the end and pull the belt onto the motor pulley, once you get the flat belt onto the motor pulley than you do what is called tracking to straighten belt out so it runs straight, replace the bottom plate. 2nd then remove the top cover by 2 to 4 screws or levers and then remove the top, then follow the procedure listed above. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.
