Question about ADI Corporation MicroScan A905 Black 19 in. Flat Panel LCD Monitor
As with another post I saw the LCD appears to get a signal, power button changes from amber to green (& have access to on screen controls) yet no display even at post. The LCD is a 19" ADI A905 it has both DVI & VGA. I currently use only VGA, as that is all I have access too. and have tried it on several computers. It has worked well for several years, but in recent months would ocasionally not wake from sleep without turning off/on or disconecting/reconecting Power. Now no display. I was wondering if this is a fixable issue? Bad VGA Cable? Bad PSU (Brick)? Bad Setting? can firmware be reset or upgraged? Bulb/? needs repacement? Any sugestions are appreciated. Thanks
I have the same problems as you. I found the only fix is to physically unplug the monitor from the wall outlet, and then it plug back in. Sounds like an internal design flaw.
