There is 2 switches in the dispenser that get energized when you push in the levers....check those out. Also there is a small control board in most refrigerators....and that could be malfunctioning.
There is a lever in the ice bin that detects when it is full. if that lever is locked in the"up" position, the maker stops making ice. Many times a previous owner or a shipper will turn off the icemaker this way. especially if the water to the home or freezer is turned off, so it won't keep trying to make ice.
