Motorola KRZR Problems

My Motorola KRZR started acting strange today. I went to use it and when I tried to scroll through the phone book, an asterisk appeared and started repeating itself all over the screen. My keys froze up and were unusable. I was able to see a call coming in but I could not answer it because none of the keys worked. Since then, I've turned the phone off and on several times with the same problem. I then tried removing the battery and SIM card and turning it on again. Now it won't shut off unless I take out the battery and again, when it starts up, the keys will not work and I still get an asterisk. I have only had the phone maybe 6 months so it should be working fine. Any ideas on what I can do?

My krzr k1m's screen is completely white, why!?

well, i guess, the phone fails to load it's software or firmware. anyway, if you don't know how to flash your phone, and you don't have the back up firmware for it, go to your nearest service center and have it reflashed. at least there, you can rest assure that they will give you the appropriate firmware for your phone.

Krzr k1 the screen went white and it shut down.( continuesly )

There is a problem with motorola phones .Data cable between screen and main board use to brake by the flip top screens hindge.Hopefully it is not your problem,if it is then only in service they can fix it by replacing this cable. If it is a software problem then you can try to solve it by yourself. It may work if the software is faulty on the phone.Just follow the link below.

PLEASE HELP!!Motorola KRZR K1 Freezing/Unfunctional

this means that one of your volume up or down buttons are stuck or that they might be water damaged. Try to click on the one that you think is pushing by itself. Do you feel it clicking in?? If not that means its stuck in. If it clicks that mostly means that it has water damage. You need to open the top portion of the phone to inspect and clean the damaged button

K1 KRZR by motorola - network unlock / subsity code

I also have a KRZR. From all the research I have done there is no way to unlock it with the IMEI no. I have tried several times. Went to our local flee market and found someone that unlocks cell phones. He tried everything except a test point. He would of had to cut into the phone and then couldn't guarentee that would work.
