Normal 0 How much memory do you have installed in your computer? It may need to be, increased, as this is likely to be the cause of your computer freezing, rebooting, times out, or shutting down.
Hope this is of some help. Bud

VX-1000 problems

Start- right click my computer - properties - hardware - device manager. Click on the + signs to expand links, find your camera, is there any question or exclamation marks showing, is so, right click & see what it says.
If nothing shows up as wrong, un-install your cam in device manager, restart your computer,(cam unplugged) when up & running, plug your cam back in & system will see it as new device & install it.
Hope this helps your issue.
Have a nice day.

Computer freezes when I connect Logitec web cam

Normal 0 There are a number of things that can cause the computer or the camera to freeze up.
First I’d check to see how much memory is installed in the computer. It takes additional memory to operate the camera.
Hope this helps. Bud

Philips spc 700nc web cam

First of all, have you verified you are using latest version of MSN messenger. If so and the problem still exists, give one of the other instant messengers a try, say like YM or AIM or any number of others.
What exactly do you mean by ' seems to work '?? Can you see yourself in the cam using whatever software other then MSN that you may have on your computer.

If you go to your webcam settings, then to "advanced" it should have an option on the left that scrolls down and gives you 3 or 4 yours is on A/E something or other, can't remember right now, but if it's on that...then that's why it looks like you are sitting in a dark room. if you switch it to any of the other ones then it should be fine...

Web -cam shuts down computer

This can happen because of a bad Driver Conflict/IRQ.. you have to either find out what "Other" device in ya PC, is "Conflicting" and either adjust the settings of that device, if able or remove it, & or, update the driver(s).. In fact, ensure ALL your "Drivers" are the most up to date as can be.. I may also be a DirectX thing too so ensure you have the most up to date version of that.
