I am on a lap top so how do i get through on a lap top

Any time you are on anypage and it has a link to email them OR somebody, internet explorer (IE), will open your default mail program and ask you to fill out the email message BUT, you have not setup THAT email program (in XP it is most likely Outlook express, in Vista it is Windowsmail). SO if it is not set up right with all the info that your (ISP, (insternet service provider), like incoming mail server and the outgoing mail server, and the user name and pasword), the program will have no idea how to send that new email message that you triggered when clicking on the craigs list link). to find out which program is by default is trying to open up, while you are in IE, ( if that is in windows XP), click tools/internet options/prgrams and you will see it in front of email program., if you have VISTA, then click --> tools/internet options/prgrams/set programs/set default programs/then click on Windows mail and set it up as your Default prgram for email sending and receiving. ) but you need to make sure you get all the info from you ISP first, it a matter of fact they might be able to help set it up for you (depends on your ISP of course).
