Problem for Zenith IQC50H95W 50 in. Rear Projection Television

Need to access service menu/mode

I bought this television second hand and the colours are off on the alignment screen. I read that you can change them in the service menu, but I can't seem to access it no matter now many different ways I try. Also, I have a universal remote. And imput would be greatly appreciated.

-   The root of the problem could be the universal remote, which would be all kinds of unfun. Pressing and holding the menu on either the tv, remote, or a combination of the two just results in the regular menu popping up for about 60 seconds, this is dissapears. Continuing to hold menu then pressing the buttons, OR releasing it and pressing the buttons results in the same thing... the TV simply trying to get to chanel 98 and 76... -   Guest

To access the Zenith service menu: Hold down the menu button on the remote control until the menu disappears. Then type in 9-8-7-6-enter. This should do the trick. Be careful what setting you change. I would recommend writing them down before you change any. Hope this helps.
