Hi,most over heating problems are down to,pipe leaking some where check for water level going down,head gasket falt check for water level going down or oil and water mixing in engine or radiater,heating matrex leeking check water level,radiater blockidge or finns blocked not letting water serculateand air,fermastate not opening properly when car is warmed up check the pipe that comes out othe radiater the one nexst to the fermastate if warm and not hot then the fermastate is proberly still in the shut persition,water pump not seculating water or sill gone check for water leeking from bottom of pump and check in reservare for water movement,hope this was some help,all the best

have a pressure test done on the cooling system and find the leak
it could be in the radiator tanks , timing cover behind the water pump, water pump seal, head gasket, cracked head or welsh plug rusted out
check the sump oil condition and if it is grey that is where the water is going

Min is the minimum amount needed in the reservoir to correctly operate the radiator . You should be filling to maximum as the difference between the two levels is what the radiator normally works with. . water level should be checked at the radiator cap as it is very possible to have a full reservoir but have an empty radiator. As long as the water level stays between the level marks then it is not necessary to top up the reservoir every day. If there is a drastic drop in the level or there is no change then I suggest checking the radiator cap once a week

remove the sensor in the coolant bottle and shake it a plastic ball inside sticks

U HAVE A BLOCKED AC CONDENSATION DRAIN TUBE, IT EXITS AT THE BASE OF THE ENGINE FIREWALL UNDER THE CAR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE.

CHECK WATER LEVEL CHECK OIL LEVEL IF NO WATER FILL UP AND IF WATER DISSAPERS OR TURNS MILKY YOU HAVE A HEAD GASKET PROB CHECK WHILE RUNNING BUT DONT GET TOO HOT

low coolant level , restriction, bad water pump, or stuck thermostat.

Check the coolant level. It sounds like you need water in the radiator.
The water level will be below the mark when cold(light on), but when it heats up, the water expands, bringing the level up when hot (light off).

When turning a corner, the water will be sloshing around switching light on and off.

If water level ok, check the switch in the expansion tank (header tank)

you water level in your windscreen washer bottle is low check all water levels it is go practice to check all water and oil levels once a week

The sensor that measures the water level is rusted if you take it out and clean it. The problem should be solved.
