My Casio ctk 811ex wont power up anyone more.Is there an internal battery that needs replacing ? What could be causing the problem ? 2 weeks ago it was working fine

ALWAYS start with the "easy" things 1st. Is the AC outlet on the wall working properly? Is the "wall-wart" power supply working correctly? If no defect is found, check the DC power jack located on the rear of the keyboard. Does it seem to be loose or does moving the power supply jack up/down cause any change? New wall-wart power supplies can be purchased from Radio Shack and usually at a lower price than the original factory replacements.

Any electronics supply store should have what you need. Try searching online. RADIO SHACK should have this power supply.

Customer has lost his power supply cord. where can he purchase another cord. power cord is three prongs.

  • Hi, I can help.

  • For the Radio Shack TRC-447 this is just a standard 3 PIN DC cord. Many CB's use the same cord and they are interchangeable. Some Cobra, Uniden, Radio Shack use the same cord. Texxcomm is a great place to get parts from.

  • If you have any coimmments please feel free to leave them here.
  • Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa.

Hi, I am looking for a new power supply/cable for a Harman Kardon iSub2000. Do you know how I can purchase a new power supply, or is there an aftermarket power supply available? Looking forward to your...

Well, from the picture it's a simple 120vac to 15vdc 2000mA device. Model Number 661520003CT

Too bad they use a proprietary connector or you could just go to Radio Shack and snag one for a few bucks. At around $100 or more apiece the OEM supplers are gouging you.

I can'tthink of any reason it would have 3 unique conductors. It's DIRECT CURRENT - a Positive and a Ground.

The price all revolves arount that connector. I'd go to Radio Shack and buy an off-the-shelf AC supply then transplant the tip from the old one.

What size power adapter does it use?

You need a AC to DC power supply capable of supplying 120VAC in, 12VDC out @ 1 amp (1000 mA). The center of the plug must be + and the outside -. I believe Dell supports these speakers and may have the power supply available. Radio Shack might have a substitute PS as well, you just have to match the plug size. Be careful what you pay for it, a new pair of these speakers can be purchased for around $20.

Here is a 12v 1500mA adapter (the mA rating can be higher that what you need, but not lower) from Radio Shack… but its more expensive that a new set of speakers.

Check the power supply. See about getting a different power supply. You can go to Radio Shack or Fry's Electronics and purchase a new one.

I have a Radio Shack Pro 433 and the plug on the back on the radio for 12 volts is dead.Where it possible find a New One... Vincent

Sounds like your AC power supply (wall wart) is dead. You can purchase one directly from Radio Shack (they may have to order it) just by telling them it's for the 433. You can also purchase a compatible power supply from (Uniden made the 433 for Radio Shack), or you can find one on eBay. The output specifications for the power supply are 12VDC, 500mA minimum, center (tip) positive.

If this response helps, please take a moment to post a rating for me. "Very Helpful" would be appreciated.

Power supply

This unit takes a 12V 0.5A DC power supply. Your local Radio Shack sells this type of supply that will plug into the wall. You'll need to make sure that the other end will plug into the turntable, but for the supply, Radio Shack is probably the quickest way.

No power

You mentioned taking the "buttons" off. That may not give you complete access to the units motherboard or power supply area. Unplug the unit and remove the outside cover. Look for a blown fuse on the motherboard or power supply. Replace it with the EXACT value of the original fuse. You can purchase a new fuse at Radio Shack or hardware store or auto parts store. Try powering up the unit again and see if it works now or whether the fuse blows again. If it blows again, the power supply may have been damaged.
