I recently dropped my canon camera and since than it is as if the battery is dead. It did seem to jam the battery door but with a little fiddeling around it is possible to open and close same. Having re-charged the battery it is making an effort but will not take a picture. Could it have damaged the lens I wonder. I did also try another lens and no joy.
-   The battery door on my Poleroid i832 cracked and fell apart. I taped it shut so that I could use it, but that is an unsatisfactory solution. In order to print pictures I have to bring the usb cable to the store. Also, the tape loosens up after a while and I have to squeeze down on it to make the batteries come into contact again and when I change batteries I have to remove the tape. It's a troublesome mess. I tried to find the Polaroid company on the internet, but had no luck. This is a defect in design, as the camera was never mishandled, dropped or abused in any way. I am willing to pay for the new door, as the camera is out of warranty, but don,t know where to get it.I would appreciate any advice.-   brucefed
