How to remove a dvd when no power to tv?
If not already done so, check the instruction manual (on-line if you don't have a copy) to see if there is anything about this in the troubleshooting guide - it may have a key combination on the remote or similar to force eject the disk. Failing this, if you can open the outer flap of the disk drawer without forcing it, you may find a small reset hole which can eject the disk manually by using something like a straightened paper clip to put into the hole and press the recessed button that is accessible via the hole. It can be a little difficult to find as depending on the design of the TV, it can be obscured behind the plastic of the TV body. Don't be tempted to force the disk drawer out as this can knacker the mechanism completely. BTW, if the disk is not a pre-recorded disk, (recorded yourself), this can cause an error like this - powering everything off and then pressing and holding the eject button as you power up may result in an eject. Hope it helps!
