Question about Hitachi 32PD3000 32 in. Plasma Television
Dear Sirs, I have a 5 year-old Hitachi 32PD3200 tv. It has always worked fine, but a couple of days ago, the mode light, which is normally red when in standby mode and gren when on, was flashing ornage. I cannot get the tv to switch on, so i cannot access the menus to try to fix it that way. I have unplugged it for a day to allow it to reset, to no avail, but cannot think what else to do. Can you help?
Need to remove the Input module circuit box from the bottom of the center and wait for few minutes before putting it back.
This will reset the system from this persistant power off problem.
Best way to prevent it from happening again is to manually switch of the power switch before doing any powering off and on. Most commonly happens during a power failure and power coming back on with the switch in the on position.

Hi, this description usually indicates power supply failure, you can verify this by checking the output voltage of power supply. Cause of the error can be electrolyte capacitors. You can identify them by swelling at the top of the condenser. If you have the technical ability? so there are a few more options for testing. In any case always possible to replace all power supply. Good luck! Let me know if everything worked out, or if you need further guidanc
