This is a very well known problem that all the Brother inkjets of that age suffer from. It is believed to be rusting of the inside of the printhead that causes error 41. There is only one fix and that is to replace the printhead . However it is not cost effective and the new head will not last that long either. I used to work for Brother and we were changing heads all day long. It cost Brother a fortune. Scrap the machine and buy a new one.
the fuser unit (fixing unit) not registering heat requirement. The heat roller or the thermistor sensor is defective.Remove fuser and check roller, if good replace sensor, reinstall fuser and reset machine.
The fuser has failed and needs to be replaced. If it is still under warranty Brother may cover it. If not you will have to take it to a Brother Authorized service center. It may be possible to find a used one on Ebay, even if its just for parts. Some of these smaller machines require extensive dissassembly to replace the fuser and shouldn't be attempted by a novice.
