Not true you do not need orginal password..you need to perform a hard reset.. somewhere on the back of router should be a little pinhole with a reset button underneath..take a paper clip or similar and put it in the pinhole and push down the button in there for a FULL 30 seconds..let it reboot and you should be able to access, it might show as a different name on your pc because you wiped out all the info that was on it
