I have an HP Deskjet 6988 that for the life of me I cannot get to install. I have tried the following 1. Install the drivers from the website: 2/3 through the process it states that the usbprint.ini is not present. I copied it from another computer and it got through the install, but no printer 2. Install the Drivers only package directly from HP; printer still cannot be reconized. 3. Manual installation and pointed the drivers to the hp installation path - still shows the printer as having a driver problem. Through all of this Windows XP reconizes that there is a drive attached, but it will not reconize the requisite drivers.

I have just bought one and the manual is hopeless but finally I figured it out. If you have installed the chain and guide you will need to remove them, then with the saw lying on the side and chain cover off you will see two holes on opposite side of the oil tank/engine casing
